Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

Ideal candidates bring experience with automated conveyors, reading blueprints and electrical schematics, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

High school or equivalent diploma.
1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, holidays.
2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or completion of Apprenticeship Program.
2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
2+ years of safety standards experience.
2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.

Responsibilities

Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE.
Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility.
Move up to 49 lbs, stand for up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and lift/reach as needed.
