Job summary

Amazon in Franklin, IN is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team. You will repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, install and service automated packaging equipment, and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• Certification from Amazon's Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program, or 2+ years of automated conveyors experience.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years demonstrating safety standards.
• 2+ years troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on MHE and related equipment.
• Maintain positive working relationships across Amazon Operations facilities.
• Ability to lift up to 49 lbs and work shifts up to 12 hours, including climbing and bending.
