Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum 2+ years of directly related experience in the applicable engineering field.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and industry standards; NEC knowledge a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient with computers and engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Act as the day-to-day mechanical engineer and project manager for capital and O&M funded projects.
• Analyze system design, programming, and modification.
• Troubleshoot challenges and ensure plant compliance with industry best practices.
• Develop studies, plans, calculations, and design documents for projects.
• Run equipment and performance tests and inspect new equipment.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards.
• Lead and mentor associate engineers, technicians, and drafters.
• Manage capital budgets for plant improvements.
