EAD Engineering seeks a Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design from concept through construction documentation, mentoring technical staff, and delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for industrial clients.

The role requires coordinating with project teams, conducting design reviews, and supporting field installation, startup, and commissioning. Strong communication and software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• 6+ years of mechanical engineering and industrial facility design experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients, vendors, and in-house staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical system design from concept through construction documentation, communicating requirements to clients and teams.
• Develop practical, maintainable, cost-effective mechanical designs considering lifecycle requirements.
• Prepare and review mechanical specifications, layouts, and design documentation for codes and standards.
• Lead design reviews to ensure coordinated, constructible deliverables and compliance with design intent.
• Provide field engineering support during installation, commissioning, and startup.
• Support business growth through proposals, client engagement, and technical presentations.
• Mentor engineers and designers through technical guidance and reviews.
