Job summary

Progressive Machine and Design in the United States is seeking a Project Engineer I to oversee mechanical engineering aspects from start to finish, ensuring designs meet scope, metrics, budget, and schedule. You will lead a team of mechanical engineers to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities include data analysis from customer requests, concept layout, cost-focused design, and creating fabrication, assembly drawings, and BOMs, while coordinating with the project manager to track ETC and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 5 years’ experience in designing automated assembly equipment.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of mechanical engineers to meet project goals.
• Develop concepts and layouts for efficient designs.
• Create fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
• Release designs to Project Management and support fabrication/validation.
