Job summary

A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or closely related field is required.
At least three years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field is required.
South Dakota PE license or commitment to obtain one is preferred; strong communication skills expected.
Program management and maintenance planning experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Design and support mechanical and industrial systems for surface and underground facilities, research programs, and operations.
Coordinate equipment fabrication, installation, integration, and maintenance.
Manage or contribute to projects, vendor and consultant services, safety controls, cost estimates, and schedules.
When assigned, lead crane and rigging inspection and certification program.
