Job summary

EAD Engineering seeks an experienced Project Engineer to support mechanical and process projects in industrial facilities across the United States. The role offers growth toward project management, with hands-on design, coordination, and site support.

You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, develop PFDs and P&IDs, review subcontractor proposals, manage schedules and costs, and ensure safety and quality. Travel to client sites nationwide is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3–5 years of experience in engineering and/or project management.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and process engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Excel, including macros.
• Ability to troubleshoot process and operational problems and provide solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-disciplined project teams including engineers, vendors, subcontractors, owners, and suppliers.
• Establish and nurture relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, ensuring timely execution.
• Review construction proposals, subcontractor invoices, and project documents.
• Develop and design equipment and piping layouts; create PFDs and P&IDs.
• Interface with clients, vendors, and project teams; ensure safety and quality compliance.
