Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is seeking an entry level Mechanical Engineering Graduate to support our engineering teams on a range of MEP projects. You will learn from senior engineers, contribute to CAD/BIM workflows, and help coordinate designs across trades while developing your professional expertise.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree with anticipated graduation Winter 2026 to Summer 2027, and have exposure to AutoCAD MEP and REVIT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical engineering with a graduation date expected Winter 2026, Spring or Summer 2027 (as per ad).
• Knowledge of the latest version of MEP Auto CAD; REVIT experience is a plus.
• Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite. FE and EIT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer.
• Learn drawing organization and company standards; perform CAD/BIM-drafting for projects.
• Coordinate with other trades under guidance of senior staff; support design and engineering for new installations, retrofits, replacements and upgrades.
• Take ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assignments.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits; participate in EDT program trainings and seminars.
