Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in San Diego invites a Mechanical Engineering Graduate to join our Engineering Development Program (EDT). As an entry-level engineer, you will support our teams, learn CAD/BIM drawing, assist with designs, and participate in site visits and coordination across trades.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with expected graduation Winter 2026 to Summer 2027, knowledge of MEP AutoCAD, REVIT a plus, and FE or EIT preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
• Graduation date Winter 2026, Spring or Summer 2027
• FE or EIT preferred

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under supervision
• Perform CAD/BIM-drafting for various projects
• Coordinate with other trades under guidance of senior staff
• Support design and engineering efforts for new installations and retrofits
• Assist engineers with field investigations and site visits
• Participate in EDT program training sessions
