Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Build For Growth Mechanical Engineer I to support operations at the Paulding Cement Plant in Ohio. You will implement and monitor CBM programs and contribute to reliable plant performance from day one.

The role is part of the Build4Growth program, a 14-month learning track for new graduates featuring blended online and on-site training, projects, and hands-on assignments to build foundational knowledge across plant operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or 3 years of equivalent experience.
• Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar field.
• Required Work Experience: 0-3 years.
• Required Computer and Software Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Travel Requirements: 5%

Responsibilities

• Work closely with equipment suppliers and plant staff to ensure successful operation of the plant.
• Monitor reliability-based systems including preventative maintenance, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring.
• Create preventative maintenance routines and BOMs for new equipment; manage PMR programs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA), Pareto analysis, statistical review, FMEA, and related techniques.
• Support improvements to Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) of major equipment.
• Coordinate SAP PMR optimization and development with maintenance planners.
• Provide training and development for maintenance functions; embed reliability concepts.
