Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Build For Growth Mechanical Engineer I at the Paulding Cement Plant in Ohio. The role focuses on supporting operation and maintenance of plant equipment, and implementing Condition Based Maintenance programs.

The candidate will join the 14‑month Build4Growth program designed to build foundational knowledge across main plant operations. Education: BS in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience; 0–3 years’ work experience; MS Office skills; travel about 5%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of equivalent experience required.
• Field of Study: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
• 0-3 years of work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support operation and maintenance of plant equipment to ensure reliable performance.
• Develop, implement and monitor CBM programs and PMRs.
• Create bills of materials (BOMs) and PMRs for new equipment.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and vibration analysis activities.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives to increase MTBF.
• Assist in SAP PMR related data entry and maintenance.
