Amrize is seeking a Build For Growth Mechanical Engineer I at the Paulding Cement Plant in Ohio. You will support plant equipment, contribute to CBM programs, and participate in a 14-month Build4Growth development track for new graduate engineers.

The role emphasizes reliability, preventative maintenance, and collaboration with suppliers and plant staff. A bachelor’s in mechanical or industrial engineering is preferred, with 0–3 years of experience and 5% travel.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or 3 years of equivalent experience.
• Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar field.
• Required Work Experience: 0-3 years
• Required Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Travel Requirements: 5%
• Additional Requirements: Self-starter, team player, safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Support operation and maintenance of plant equipment to ensure reliable performance.
• Develop, implement, and monitor CBM programs and PMRs.
• Participate in creating BOMs for new equipment and maintenance routines.
• Coordinate SAP PMR activities with maintenance planners.
• Analyze root causes and drive improvements to MTBF of major equipment.
• Provide technical training and development for maintenance teams.
