Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Build For Growth Mechanical Engineer I to support plant operations at the Paulding Cement Plant in OH. The role focuses on CBM programs, preventive maintenance, and reliability improvements as part of our Build4Growth program. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or 3 years of experience in mechanical/industrial engineering, 0–3 years of work experience, and familiarity with MS Office.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available. Travel is around 5%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of equivalent experience.
• Field of Study: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar.
• 0-3 years of work experience; MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Work closely with equipment suppliers and plant staff to ensure reliable operation.
• Monitor reliability-based systems including preventative maintenance and condition monitoring.
• Create and manage preventive maintenance routines (PMRs) and BOMs for new equipment.
• Coordinate SAP PMR processes with maintenance planners.
• Lead root cause analysis to eliminate recurring problems.
• Support improvements to Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) for major equipment.
• Facilitate continuous improvement in equipment availability and reliability.
