Client Growth Resources, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Morris County, NJ. The role focuses on designing water and wastewater equipment in SolidWorks and generating fabrication drawings for shop builds.

The ideal candidate has a 3–4 year track record in mechanical design, strong problem solving, and the ability to iterate designs with fabricators. This is a fully onsite position with a base salary of $75,000–$90,000 and comprehensive medical coverage for employee and family.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 3–4 years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficient in SolidWorks for design and fabrication drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to translate needs into buildable solutions.
• Accurate, detail-oriented drawing work and ability to discuss designs with fabricators.

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater equipment in SolidWorks and produce fabrication drawings.
• Determine how to build customer solutions, including equipment not previously made.
• Carry conveyor designs from requirements through released drawings.
• Visit the fabrication shop to review plans and resolve build questions with fabricators.
• Prepare drawings for outside fabricators with appropriate detail.
• Support the project engineer with design work for each order.
• Ensure details are correct before release so equipment fits first time.
