KingRecruitingServices is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Morris County, NJ. The role focuses on designing water and wastewater equipment in SolidWorks and producing fabrication drawings.

You will work closely with the shop floor to iterate designs based on fabrication input. The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of mechanical design experience, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, and strong aptitude for turning needs into buildable solutions, including conveyors.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• 3–4 years of mechanical design experience; strong candidates with less considered.
• Proficient in SolidWorks; primary design and fabrication drawings platform.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and detail-oriented drawing.
• Local to northern New Jersey and onsite in Morris County.
• Experience designing conveyors or similar fabricated equipment preferred.
• Willingness to grow with design work.

Aufgaben

• Design water and wastewater equipment in SolidWorks and produce fabrication drawings for the shop to build from.
• Determine how to build customer requirements, including equipment the company has not built before.
• Carry conveyor designs from requirements through released drawings.
• Visit the fabrication shop to review plans, check progress, and resolve build questions with fabricators.
• Prepare drawings for outside fabricators, with the level of detail each one needs.
• Support the project engineer running each order with the design work that order requires.
• Get the details right before release, so equipment is built once and fits the first time.
