Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 3–4 years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficient in SolidWorks.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and detail-oriented drawing.
• Local to northern New Jersey and onsite in Morris County.
• Experience designing conveyors or similar fabricated equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater equipment in SolidWorks and produce fabrication drawings.
• Determine how to build customer-required equipment, including new designs.
• Carry conveyor designs from requirements through released drawings.
• Visit fabrication shop to review plans and resolve build questions.
• Prepare drawings for outside fabricators.
• Support the project engineer with design work on each order.
• Ensure details are correct before release so equipment is built right the first time.
