Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to lead the Meat & Seafood team in a fast-paced store environment. You will assist in managing inventory, training staff, and ensuring top quality and customer service for fresh meat and seafood.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to company procedures to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for customers in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience and 2–3 years grocery retail experience in Meat department processes is highly preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Adhere to safety, health and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, training and developing the Meat & Seafood team.
• Ensure freshness and quality per company practices and safety standards.
