Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to lead and develop one of our busiest departments. You will train the Meat & Seafood team, oversee inventory and ordering, and ensure quality, freshness, and strong customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will work closely with the Meat & Seafood Manager to plan production, merchandising, and staffing, upholding health and safety guidelines while delivering excellent value and an outstanding shopping experience for

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in grocery retail Meat department processes
• Proven leadership experience
• Good communication and customer service orientation
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality product and excellent customer service
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Meat & Seafood team
• Follow and enforce safety, health, sanitation, and department procedures
• Unload deliveries and maintain equipment
• Ensure adherence to company policies and shift requirements
