Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to lead the Meat & Seafood team in delivering high quality products and exceptional service. You will support the manager with ordering, inventory, training, and daily operations in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires leadership experience, strong customer service skills, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 18 years of age with math, weights and measures knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with proven leadership.
• 2–3 years of grocery retail experience in Meat department processes preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality and team supervision.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and teamwork.
• Lead a team delivering high quality products and best customer experience.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Meat & Seafood staff.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
• Manage receiving, stocking, and unloading to maintain freshness.
