Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Meat & Seafood Manager to assist the leadership of one of the store’s busiest departments. You will guide the team, support inventory and ordering, and uphold quality and freshness standards.

In this role you will help develop team members, maintain health and safety guidelines, and ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting. This position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and operational excellence across the meat and seafood

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with basic math/measurement skills.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience; leadership experience preferred.
• 2–3 years grocery retail Meat department experience preferred.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in department management, merchandising, and productivity.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, planning, and teamwork to deliver high-quality products and service.
• Support in hiring, training, and development of meat staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and internal procedures.
