You will assist in managing inventory, ordering, and daily operations while upholding safety and sanitation standards across the department.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years grocery retail meat dept experience preferred.
• Proven leadership and ability to develop a team.
• Strong communication and flexible scheduling capabilities.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in department leadership and merchandising.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality and team supervision.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and teamwork.
• Help hire, train, and develop the Meat & Seafood team.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and Weights & Measures guidelines.
