Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to support the Meat & Seafood Manager in running a productive department. You will help with ordering, inventory, staff supervision, and ensuring freshness and quality while maintaining our health and safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and flexibility to cover nights, weekends and holidays in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience with proven leadership experience.
• 2-3 years of grocery retail experience in Meat department processes preferred.
• Be dependable with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Help lead a team to deliver quality products and excellent customer service.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training and developing the Meat & Seafood team.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and sanitation guidelines and company recipes.
