Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to support the Meat & Seafood Manager in leading a high-quality department. You will help with ordering, inventory, product quality, and supervising the Meat & Seafood team to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leadership experience, a customer-first attitude, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have basic math skills.
• Minimum of 2 years professional leadership experience.
• 2–3 years grocery retail experience in Meat department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and team supervision.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing Meat & Seafood staff.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with company guidelines.
