Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to lead one of the busiest teams in-store, ensuring fresh, high-quality meat and seafood products and excellent customer service. You will assist in scheduling, training, inventory control, and adherence to health and safety guidelines.

The role requires 2+ years in grocery meat operations, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering a great customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with basic math, weights and measures knowledge.
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience; leadership experience; 2–3 years grocery retail meat dept experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in department management, merchandising and profitability.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales via planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Meat & Seafood team.
