Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager in Flagstaff, AZ to lead a fast-paced team, plan cutting lists, ensure accurate inventory, and drive sales while maintaining the highest quality products.

The role requires at least 2 years of meat cutting experience with leadership, physical stamina, and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. You’ll coach staff, schedule shifts, and partner with store leadership to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age, and have a basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.
• Must have a minimum of 2 year’s meat cutting experience in the grocery or restaurant industry including leadership experience.
• Must be able to perform other related duties as assigned.
• Must be capable of standing for up to 4 hour continuously, and a total of 8 hours per shift.
• Be able to work inside a temperature controlled area.
• Possess good vision for using sharp knives and equipment.
• Be able to lift/carry products up to 90 lbs. and move pallets up to 500 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists; maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct ordering, receiving, storage, and rotation of merchandise and displays.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct bi-annual performance reviews.
• Attend and participate in in-store meetings; lead scheduling and staffing.
• Recruit, hire and promote in collaboration with the Store Manager; address team concerns.
• Lead a team to deliver highest quality product and service; act as MOD when needed.
