Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager to lead the department operations and sales, coaching team members, managing cutting lists and inventory, and ensuring top‑quality product and service in a fast-paced store.

You will recruit, train, and evaluate staff, address performance with HR partners, and optimize schedules to maximize efficiency while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with basic math, weights and measures knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant, including leadership.
• Able to stand up to 4 hours continuously and up to 8 hours per shift; may walk up to 2 miles.
• Able to work in a temperature controlled environment.
• Ability to lift/carry 25–90 lbs., with frequent bending and reaching.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists to meet department goals.
• Ensure proper ordering, receiving, storage, and rotation of meat and displays.
• Coach and develop team members; participate in bi-annual performance reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings and assist in recruitment and promotions decisions.
• Maintain schedules to maximize productivity and staffing efficiency.
• Communicate standards and product knowledge to staff; lead a high-quality service team.
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
