Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager in Flagstaff, AZ to lead the Meat & Seafood Department, drive sales, maintain product quality, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will plan orders, coach a diverse team, manage schedules, and collaborate with store leadership to meet profitability goals while upholding safety and department standards.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 2 years' meat cutting experience in the grocery or restaurant industry, including leadership.
• Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously, and a total of 8 hours per shift.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to supervise and coach team members; experience with performance reviews preferred.
• Knowledge of department standards, margins and goals.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise.
• Coach and develop Team Members; participate in bi-annual performance reviews.
• Attend and participate in in-store meetings.
• Recruit, hire and promote in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Lead scheduling and staffing to ensure productivity.
• Communicate standards and product knowledge to team members.
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
