Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Las Vegas is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager to oversee the sales and operation of the department, ensuring quality, freshness, and superb customer service.

The role leads a team, coordinates cutting lists, scheduling, training, and coaching, and collaborates with store leadership to achieve gross profit goals and an exceptional in-store experience for customers. The ideal candidate has at least two years of meat cutting experience and strong leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with math, weights and measures basics.
• Minimum of 2 years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant industry including leadership.
• Ability to stand for long periods, handle heavy lifting and operate equipment safely.
• Flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct ordering, receiving, storage, and rotation of meat and seafood.
• Coach and evaluate team members through regular feedback and performance reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings and participate in store leadership discussions.
• Recruit, hire, and promote staff in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Monitor schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Lead a team to deliver quality product and exceptional customer service.
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
