Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager to lead the department with precision and expertise. You will train and develop a team while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will plan cutting lists, manage orders, and drive profitability, all while maintaining department standards and safety. The role requires leadership, reliability, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant.
• Leadership experience required.
• Ability to stand long hours and lift up to 90 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise and displays.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Attend and participate in in-store meetings.
• Recruit and promote staff in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Address team member concerns with independent judgment.
• Address performance via coaching, counseling, or discipline as needed.
• Create and adjust schedules to maximize productivity.
• Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality product and customer service.
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
