Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager to lead the department's sales and operations, coach staff, and drive profit. The role requires hands-on meat cutting expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to manage schedules and performance.

The position emphasizes high standards of customer service, team development, and collaboration with store management to execute department goals and ensure cutting, receiving, and display accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant including leadership.
• Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously; 8 hours per shift.
• Able to lift 25–90 lbs. and move pallets up to 500 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales, and financial goals.
• Outgoing and friendly attitude toward team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct ordering, receiving, storage, and rotation of merchandise.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings and participate.
• Recruit, hire, promote/transfer in collaboration with Store Manager.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality products and service.
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
