Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager to oversee the department in our store, driving sales, quality, and service. You will plan orders, manage cutting lists, and coach the team to meet performance goals.

This role requires leadership, flexibility to work nights and weekends, and the ability to lift up to 90 lbs. Strong customer focus and operational acumen are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with 2 years meat cutting experience and leadership experience.
• Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy items up to 90 lbs.
• Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the sales and operation of the Meat & Seafood Department.
• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists; maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct ordering, receiving, storage, and rotation of merchandise.
• Coach and evaluate team members; conduct bi-annual performance reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings; assist in hiring decisions with Store Manager.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality product and service; act as MOD when needed.
