Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager to lead the sales and operations of the Meat & Seafood Department, ensuring the highest quality product and service for customers.

You will coach and develop team members, plan cutting lists, manage scheduling, and collaborate with the Store Manager on staffing and promotions to drive performance and growth in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant industry with leadership experience.
• Able to stand up to 8 hours per shift, lift 25–90 lbs., and operate in a temperature controlled environment.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of margins, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of the Meat & Seafood Department.
• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct receiving, storage, rotation, and display of products.
• Coach and develop team members; participate in performance reviews and promotions.
• Recruit, hire, and collaborate with the Store Manager on staffing decisions.
• Lead by example to deliver high product quality and customer service.
