Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with basic math skills.
• Minimum 2 years professional leadership experience and 2-3 years grocery meat experience preferred.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goals, and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality products and excellent customer service.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Meat & Seafood team.
• Manage weekly ads, inventory, and adherence to receiving and stocking procedures.
• Unload deliveries and operate meat & seafood equipment while following safety rules.
