Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with basic math knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience; 2–3 years grocery retail Meat dept preferred.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong communication skills; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Stand for up to 4 hours, lift/carry 25–90 lbs, operate equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Meat & Seafood team.
• Ensure adherence to receiving, stocking, and sanitation guidelines.
