Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to lead one of the busiest departments, ensuring quality, freshness, and strong customer service. You will assist in ordering, inventory control, staff development, and daily operations to drive productivity and store success.

The role requires leadership experience in grocery retail, a focus on teamwork, and flexible scheduling including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with basic math skills and weights knowledge.
• Minimum of 2 years professional leadership experience in grocery retail.
• 2–3 years of grocery retail experience in Meat department processes preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Meat & Seafood Manager in managing department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality product and excellent customer service.
• Hire, train, and develop Meat & Seafood staff; ensure freshness and safety.
