Job summary

Harris Teeter in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Meat/Seafood Department Supervisor to manage and supervise up to 15 associates, directing daily operations in accordance with company policies and laws.

The role includes interviewing and training associates, planning and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining staff, and resolving complaints to maintain high standards of customer service and sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or 2-3 years related experience.
• Willingness to participate in required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to lead a team in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise up to 15 associates in the Meat/Seafood Department.
• Direct overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of department staff.
• Interviewing and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining staff; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
