Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to help guide the Meat & Seafood team in delivering high quality products and excellent customer service. You will support the Manager with merchandising, inventory control, and staff development in a fast-paced store environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of leadership and grocery retail experience in meat operations, a flexible schedule, and strong teamwork skills to ensure freshness, safety, and a top-tier shopping experience

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience and proven leadership experience.
• 2-3 years of grocery retail experience in Meat department processes highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction and teamwork.
• Lead and train Meat & Seafood team to deliver high quality products and customer experience.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health and sanitation guidelines.
