Job summary

SpartanNash in Caledonia, MI is seeking a Meat Team Member for a part-time role to prepare, package and stock meat products while upholding food safety and guest experience standards. The position requires teamwork, basic math, and attention to detail in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will work with the Meat Manager and team, follow PPE and safety guidelines, rotate stock, label products, and assist other departments as needed to support store growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Detail oriented and accurate in handling products and labels.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce meat products for production plan.
• Package and label meat products per program.
• Merchandise meat products per flight plan and merchandising standards.
• Stock backroom with meat products, rotate and date cases/buckets.
• Notify Meat Manager when products or supplies need to be ordered.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines; ensure guest experience standards.
• Assist other departments as needed to support store growth.
