Responsibilities

• Supervise workers in the meat department.
• Maintain meat department paperwork and records.
• Provide friendly, courteous service and resolve customer complaints.
• Train workers in meat prep, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for efficiency and standards.
• Maintain inventory and control shrink.
• Record hours and sign time tickets.
• Develop department objectives, budgets, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure proper temperatures in meat cases and rotate stock.
• Identify and address operational issues to reduce waste and theft.
