Job summary

Save A Lot is seeking a Meat Cutter to maintain the meat department, trim and prepare standard cuts, and ensure product quality and display standards. You will work under supervision to drive sales and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of meat-cutting experience, strong teamwork, and commitment to safety and sanitation. Requires ability to work varied shifts in a Union-friendly retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• One year of meat-cutting experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead meat department to meet and exceed metric goals.
• Handle product ordering, merchandising, and shrink control.
• Coach and train others in meat tasks.
• Cut, wrap, weigh and price meat products.
• Maintain cold chain and sanitation standards.
