Under the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, you will cut, wrap, label, and price meat while maintaining cold chain, sanitation, and adherence to Save-A-Lot policies. Strong teamwork and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of required meat cutter training or equivalent.
• Experience cutting meat with hand tools and power equipment preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable and flexible; adhere to uniform dress code.

Responsibilities

• Cuts and packages beef, pork and poultry per Save-A-Lot policies.
• Wraps, weighs and prices cuts of meat.
• Labels packages per COOL, USDA and company standards.
• Maintains displays and signage to maximize sales.
• Receives, inspects and stores meat; maintains cold chain.
• Ensures sanitation and quality standards daily; follows all policies.
• May be assigned to more than one store.
