Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a meat department team member in Seekonk, MA to assist Members, cut and prepare meat products, and maintain department standards. You will weigh, wrap, label, and display products while ensuring safety and sanitation throughout shifts.

The role requires completion of a training program or apprenticeship, previous meat-cutting experience, and familiarity with wrapping machines. You must be 18+, and benefits include health coverage and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages and assists Members by making recommendations and answering questions regarding meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards; weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts.
• Maintains meat department inventory and ensures case displays are stocked and fresh.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards in the meat department.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
