Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Marlborough, Massachusetts is seeking a Meat Department team member to handle cutting, wrapping, weighing and merchandising meat products while assisting members. You will help ensure safety, quality, and availability of items in the department.

Responsibilities include preparing special cuts, restocking cases, maintaining signage and cleanliness, and upholding club standards. Must have prior meat cutting experience and complete a training or apprenticeship; at least 18

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program or apprenticeship is required.
• Previous meat cutting experience is required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Engages with Members by making recommendations and answering questions about meat, poultry and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards.
• Maintains inventory and showcases in the meat case.
• Ensures sanitation and safety standards are met.
