Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Massachusetts is seeking team members for the Meat Department who will receive, cut, wrap and merchandise fresh and processed meats while maintaining high sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages with Members by answering questions on meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts and orders as requested by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels meat products for display.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards in the meat department.
