Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a Meat Department Team Member to receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandize fresh and processed meats, including special cuts ordered by Members.

You will help maintain sanitation standards and assist in meat selection. This role requires completion of a training program or apprenticeship, prior meat-cutting experience, and ability to operate wrapping machines.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, cuts, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats.
• Assists in merchandising seafood, prepared foods, cheeses and deli sections.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards within the meat department.
• Assist in special meat arrangements for Members and maintain inventory.
