Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages with Members by answering questions about meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, wraps, and labels meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Maintains meat case inventory and product visibility.
• Rotates items by expiration dates and disposes of damaged products.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and display cases.
