Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is hiring a Meat Cutter to keep meat cases stocked, labeled, and customer-ready. You will assist shoppers, maintain clean departments, and ensure safety and accuracy in all transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years professional meat department experience preferred.
• Experience in natural foods is a plus.
• Journeyman cutter or apprenticeship completed preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock and present meat cases with accuracy and pricing.
• Maintain clean, sanitary meat aisles and coolers.
• Assist customers with purchases and product selection.
• Weigh, wrap, and label meat products per standards.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, and other equipment safely.
• Rotate products and monitor temperatures throughout production.
