Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to stock and manage meat and seafood products with accuracy and care. You will assist customers, weigh and package items, and maintain a clean, safe department environment.

Responsibilities include stocking, labeling, cutting, and applying proper dating procedures while following all department guidelines. Strong knife skills and previous meat experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years grocery/meat department experience preferred.
• Must maintain high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with knives, scales, and meat processing tools.

Responsibilities

• Stock meat cases and ensure correct pricing and labeling.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in meat aisles and cooler.
• Assist customers with purchases and product selection at the counter.
• Handle packing, weighing, and proper dating of products.
• Cut, tray, and package required meat and seafood items.
• Follow safety guidelines and use equipment properly.
