Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience.
• Preferred 2–3 years grocery retail experience in Meat department.
• Journeyman cutter or apprenticeship program completed preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock meat cases with proper presentation, pricing and organization.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of meat aisles and storage areas.
• Assist customers with purchases and cross selling at the meat counter.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Monitor temperatures during production of meat and seafood items.
• Prepare meat and seafood products per Fresh Thyme recipes.
