Job summary

Fresh Thyme Rewards is seeking a skilled Meat Clerk to stock and present meat and seafood products while ensuring proper dating, pricing, and freshness. You will assist customers at the meat counter and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe department.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, weighing products, and using knives and scales while following safety protocols. Prior meat experience is preferred, with strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience in meat or grocery retail.
• Journeyman cutter or apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stocks meat cases and ensures pricing accuracy.
• Maintains cleanliness and safe working area.
• Monitors product rotation and expiration.
• Assists customers and cross-sells products at the meat counter.
• Inspects shipments for temperature and quality.
• Uses knives, scales, and other meat processing equipment.
